Jesus showed us that to lead is to serve, and when we give our time to others, we follow in His footsteps.  Whether you want to share a specific talent or simply have a heart to help, there is a place for you here.  Your dedication is invaluable to our church family and helps us share God’s love with the community.  Please review the Departments & the Servant-Leader Expectations, then pray before moving forward.

GREETERS
Purpose: MAKE THEM FEEL LIKE FAMILY. Create a warm, Christ-centered first
impression.
Responsibilities:
● Welcome every guest with love and joy
● Identify and assist first-time visitors
● Help create an inviting, peaceful atmosphere
● Communicate any needs or concerns to leadership
● Be sure your attire is appropriate and not causing anyone to stumble or be a
distraction.
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Be the first witness people encounter
● Reflect the love of Christ through presence and tone

USHERS
Purpose: Maintain order and flow during service
Responsibilities:
● Assist with seating and movement during service
● Be attentive to congregation needs (Water, mint, tissue etc.)
● Support leadership during altar calls or ministry time
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Serve with attentiveness and discernment
● Operate in quiet humility and structure

SOUND TEAM
Purpose: Ensure clear, distraction-free audio experience
Responsibilities:
● Manage microphones, music and sound levels
● Set up and test equipment before service
● Troubleshoot technical issues quickly
● Coordinate with speakers
● Correctly display message slides & announcement slides
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Serve behind the scenes with excellence
● Remove distractions so the Word can go forth clearly

CREATIVE CONTENT
Purpose: Communicate the ministry’s message visually and digitally
Responsibilities:
● Manage social media, graphics and media content
● Capture photos/videos during service & events
● Promote services, bible studies and other events
● Maintain consistency in messaging
● Check and respond to social media messages
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Use creativity as a tool for witness
● Ensure content reflects truth, integrity and humility

PRAYER TEAM
Purpose: Cover the ministry and people in prayer
Responsibilities:
● Pray before, during and after services
● Be available for altar prayer and intercession
● Maintain confidentiality and spiritual maturity
● Intercede for ministry needs regularly
● Pray over prayer request stated on the connection cards
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Operate in deep humility and sensitivity to the Spirit
● Be spiritually accountable and grounded

SECURITY
Purpose: Ensure a safe and peaceful environment
Responsibilities:
● Monitor entrances, exits and surroundings
● Monitor Children’s area
● Respond calmly to any disruptions
● Work closely with leadership in emergencies
● Be visible but not intimidating
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Protect with wisdom and discernment
● Serve quietly without drawing attention

SETUP & BREAKDOWN
Purpose: Prepare and restore the worship space
Responsibilities:
● Set up chairs, equipment, signage, etc.
● Ensure cleanliness and readiness before service
● Ensure restrooms are ready for use with supplies
● Break down and restore space after service
● Pack items & empty trash
● Notify leadership of inventory & items to be purchased
● Work efficiently as a team
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Serve faithfully in unseen areas
● Honor God through stewardship and excellence

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (Ages 2–11)
Purpose: Teach children about Jesus & help them become rooted in Christ while
keeping them engaged
Responsibilities:
● Prepare age-appropriate Bible lessons
● Ensure safety and proper supervision
● Create a fun, structured environment
● Disciple the Jr. Helper assigned
● Communicate with parents when needed
● Notify leadership of inventory & items to be purchased
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Be a Godly example to children
● Teach truth with patience and love

YOUTH (Ages 12–17)
Purpose: Disciple youth and help them build identity in Christ
Responsibilities:
● Lead monthly Bible studies
● Organize quarterly activities
● Build relationships and mentorship
● Address real-life challenges with biblical truth
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Encourage bold witness among peers
● Foster accountability and identity in Christ

YOUNG ADULTS – “PIVOT” (Ages 18–25)
Purpose: Help young adults navigate life transitions with Christ at the center
Responsibilities:
● Lead bi-weekly Bible studies
● Plan quarterly outings
● Encourage community and accountability
● Address life topics (purpose, relationships, faith)
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Equip for strong witness in adulthood
● Promote spiritual maturity and humility

OUTREACH
Purpose: Extend the love of Christ beyond the church walls
Responsibilities:
● Organize quarterly outreach events
● Feed and clothe the homeless
● Share the Gospel intentionally
● Mobilize volunteers
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Be the hands and feet of Jesus
● Lead with compassion, not superiority

MARRIAGE MINISTRY
Purpose: Equip couples to build a Christ-centered, lifelong marriage through
Scripture, self-reflection and practical habits
Responsibilities:
● Plan quarterly enrichment workshops
● Provide biblical teaching on marriage
● Create safe space for growth and healing
● Offer support and guidance
Spiritual Emphasis:
● Promote unity, humility and accountability
● Model Christ-centered relationships
